The Mighty Beta Mu Chapter , “The MOB” was founded May 17,2014 at the Rollins-Steward Music Center on the campus of Texas Southern University. The chapter was founded by
the 10 W.O.T.S. The are refrred to as
the 10 silver stars of the chapter. The Beta Mu chapter is located in Houston,Texas.

National History
Founded by Chief Illustrious D'Extra Wiley, on June 23, 2009, Mu Phi Sigma is an organization which principles are built on Mentor-ship, Fellowship and Service. Mu Phi Brothers and Fraternal Sisters act as mentors to younger generations, vowing to always share and pass down a measure of their skills and experiences on and off fields, stages, and churches to the next generations. The brotherhood sponsors social, charitable causes and networking events that gives back to the communities and students. We maintain interaction among our members, to further the social, professional and humanitarian interests of all members. Collegiate and Local Chapters extends from New Jersey, Baltimore, D.C. VA, through the Carolinas, Atlanta, Memphis and continues westward through Texas. As a fast growing brotherhood, Mu Phi Panthers can expect international establishment in the near future!
